About the Project

Orchid Blues project takes a quieter approach to residential interior design, using soft colours, clean surfaces and carefully shaped details to create a home that feels light and composed. The palette moves between warm off-whites, muted blue, soft green and a gentle coral tone, giving each space its own character while keeping the overall look connected.

The bedroom is designed around simplicity and everyday comfort. A pale blue bedspread and matching cushions bring a cool, restful note against the warm neutral walls, while the large roller blind keeps the window treatment understated. A full-height mirror follows the curve of the adjacent built-in ledge, making the dressing area feel more distinctive. Small details - a warm table lamp, books, framed artwork and a few decorative pieces-add a personal touch without making the room feel busy.

Elsewhere, storage is handled with a clean, wall-to-wall wardrobe in a soft green-grey finish. The slim wooden handles and open central niche break the uninterrupted cabinetry, giving the unit a practical yet considered appearance. The living area takes a warmer turn with a coral-toned sofa, rounded coffee table and a tripod floor lamp. A curved wooden-and-white console visually separates the seating area while also creating a useful surface for display and everyday objects.

Soft Forms and Thoughtful Colour

One of the most distinctive aspects of Orchid Blues project is the way colour and curved forms work together. Instead of relying on heavy decoration, the interiors use a few well-defined elements - a coral sofa, muted green cabinetry, blue textiles and curved furniture details—to give the home its personality.

The rounded edges of the console, mirror and coffee table soften the otherwise clean-lined interiors. Meanwhile, the restrained backdrop allows these details to stand out naturally. Lighting completes the picture, shifting between practical recessed illumination and the warmer glow of lamps for a more relaxed atmosphere.
